Embrace Fear
My 10 year old neighbor wanted to race go-carts for his birthday and asked me to take him…I said, “Okay, no problem”…However in truth, I was a bit scared…I have never raced anything except canoes and that was 40+ years ago…these little roadsters can get up to 45 mph and you can really hurt yourself if you don’t pay attention…when the day came, I squeezed into the cart and drove like a Grandma…but with encouragement from all the little Gnomes by the second race I was moving, FAST…I ended up having such a good time that we are all going again next month for MY birthday…
You have all heard it before, but it’s very true, you MUST conquer your fears to succeed and become someone of substance…for most people, everyday is a new challenge; some folks living paycheck to paycheck, some getting through a tough domestic situation, others making business decisions that affect many, etc.…Life is not simple, but it’s a lot more complicated if you don’t push yourself to rise above adversity…And fear is how we grow…if everything was easy and given to us, then we would be lazy, simple, and boring…So the bottom line is; don’t fear; neither hardships or trials, embrace them and work through them…you will become stronger and the world will be your oyster…
